Wrapuccino are holding an online workshop on the 1st December (6pm BST) that will demonstrate how anyone can beautifully wrap their gifts the eco way and create stunning work of arts from fabric. It's all about combining the chic with sustainability.

In the UK alone, over Christmas, we use enough wrapping paper to go around the Equator 9 times. NINE times.
Wrapuccino would like to show that there's a sustainable alternative. After this workshop, you'll never use wrapping paper again and you'll have loads of fun.
There are 2 types of people in this World: those who enjoy wrapping gifts, and those who don't. Whichever side you're on, you'll love this webinar and afterwards you’ll be able to impress everyone in your living room this Christmas!
Furoshiki is an ancient art of wrapping in fabric that orginated in Japan and is still used to this day. By using fabric, you can create impressive works of art with very little effort. In fact, most of the techniques take only a few seconds to complete. Moreover, it's a 100% sustainable and no-waste alternative to the single-use wrapping paper.
This workshop will be fun and interactive & you'll be able to wrap along as you follow our presenters.
What you'll need:
A piece of fabric (a scarf, a handkerchief) of around 50x50cm or 70x70cm or you can buy modern furoshiki made in the UK from the award-winning Wrapuccino. If you only have 1 piece of cloth roughly the above size, it will do too!
Items you'll practice wrapping (we recommended: a book, a candle, a bottle of wine, or a present you're planning on gifting)
2 hands (but you could do it with 1 skilled one too).
A glass of wine to get you in the festive mood (or whatever is your poison).
What you don't need:
No glue, no sticky tape, no scissors needed.
Wrapuccino offer unique eco-friendly, reusable and multi-purpose fabric gift wraps. With Wrapuccino, you can show the world that sustainable gift-wrapping is not only possible but also that it doesn’t have to be grey and boring. Quite the contrary; though the fabrics are beautiful on their own, every time you wrap a gift you create a little piece of art that’s one-of-a-kind, without the need for any ribbons or tape.
Handing a gift wrapped in fabric is extra special, you show you care on so many levels: about the person, the environment, but also about beauty, style and presentation. Effectively, you’re giving the lucky recipient two gifts. Each fabric is carefully handmade and finished by our talented artisans, which guarantees you will re-use it (or repurpose it) time and time again. You see, their wraps are for life, not just for Christmas! Each wrap comes with a recycled name tag with this information so that the recipient can feel extra special.
Wrapuccino use reusable gift wrap that helps save the Oceans, as part of their profits go to a UK-based charity protecting marine life.
